Our Story

ARELIP was founded by two advocates who believed that Indian commercial practice deserved the same rigour of pleading and clarity of counsel found in the world’s finest chambers. We have built a 200-lawyer firm with satellite offices in every district and tie-ups with major law firms across the globe in almost every country.
From chambers in Kolkata and Hyderabad, with a strong NETWORK of associates across multiple States and Districts within, ARELIP is counselled by a strong team of experienced and dedicated lawyers advising listed companies, founders, sovereign clients and, on occasion, individuals in matters of consequence.
We remain deliberately partner-led. Every mandate is supervised by a named partner from intake to judgment. We do not staff by the hour; we staff by what the matter demands.

ARELIP was founded by two advocates and has grown into a team of dedicated and experienced lawyers — partners, counsel, senior associates, associates & interns.
Our partners lead mandates in corporate and M&A, dispute resolution, taxation, constitutional and public law, banking and finance, white-collar investigations, criminal defence, intellectual property, and mediation. Each matter is supervised by a named partner from intake through to judgment or completion.
Counsel and associates specialise by practice group and by forum, appearing regularly before the Supreme Court of India, every High Court, the National Company Law Tribunal, Arbitral Tribunals and Regulatory Authorities. Alumni of the firm sit on multiple prestigious forums and lead the in-house teams of some of the country’s largest enterprises.
